What People's Say About Place

I absolutley love this place! As soon as you walk in all the staff greets you in japanese and their service is kindly attentive. The food is amazing! I've tried the tempura udon, teriyaki bento box, miso soup, and sweet potato/veggie filled sushi. It always hits with my family! I also really love their breaded and fried vegetables they serve on the side that come with some meals. I recently noticed they have desserts too, so I can't wait to come back to try these and more!

This establishment is very beautiful! The staff is so refreshingly polite, pleasant and nice at the same time. The bento box was absolutely delicious. The octopus and squid sushi was so fresh. The squid is now my all time favorite sushi ever. I’m Not sure how the chef prepared it but it’s amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s interested in a Japanese meal or Sushi. It was a very nice Valentines dinner. We did not have reservations and we only had to wait for one party to leave before we were seated.

Not your typical "suburb" sushi! Even though Sushi Gato had only opened its door a bit over a year, the chef & team here had operated Japanese/Sushi restaurant for more than 25 years. I came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by Chef Kenny's omakase. Its not cheap here, but good fish/seafood, directly flown in from Japan, arent cheap neither. I was served Akimo (Monkfish liver), Uni, Hotate (Scallops), Shikoku Oyster, Aji, Shima Aji, Nodoguro (Sea Perch), Chu-Toro and other specials that were mostly from Japan; in Nigiri form that is crafted and seasoned(sauced) to perfection by Chef Kenny. They do have rolls and other items if you werent going to reach for the top or you are just bringing sushi newbies or kids for a causal meal.

We had a big group for Happy Hour and service was great. We had two waiters taking care of our group of 12. Food was pretty good too. The sushi was fresh and the presentations were very pretty. We took advantage of their happy hour to try the seaweed salad, social tuna roll, katsu roll, takoyaki, shrimp tempura rolls, and vegetable yakisoba too (large portion).

A little more expensive than other sushi restaurants, but the quality and variety is really good. I've been going on Friday nights to sit at the bar with Hirosan. I especially appreciate their variety of cold sake -- if you've never had filtered cold sake, I suggest you try some here. The pic is of a lemon roll.

I visited Sushi Gato for the first time, and they mentioned that they’ve recently opened. I must say, they’re off to an excellent start! The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, with soft, calming music—perfect for someone like me who doesn’t enjoy eating with loud background noise. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The chef, who is Japanese, even gave me a few recommendations when I was ordering, which you don’t often see at other sushi bars. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every dish I tried had the freshest fish, and you could really taste the quality in every bite. This place easily deserves five stars, and I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

I just found an amazing sushi restaurant! They use only the freshest and most delicious fish, and you can really taste the skill of the chefs in every bite. There were many rare Japanese fish that you don’t often see in this area, and the aging process of the fish was done perfectly. The service was also exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff that made the dining experience even better. The best part is that you can enjoy such high-quality sushi at a very reasonable price! I definitely want to come back here often. I’m so happy that we have such a fantastic sushi spot in our neighborhood!

This was my first time at here and dinner was fantastic! I got two different sushi rolls and each one was delicious. The atmosphere was great too! The employees were so friendly and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. I highly recommend Sushi Gato!
